Bob has been a member of the North Platte Noon Rotary Club since February 2005. Originally from Pueblo, Colorado, he spent 36 years in the retail/wholesale grocery business, including 19 years with Sixth Street Food Stores/U-Save Foods. He also was a partner in a new car dealership for about five years

Bob served as President/CEO of Farmers State Bank of Wallace/North Platte as well as Business Development Director and HR/Personnel manager for the Bank and the American Mortgage Company/American Agency. After leaving Farmers State Bank, he finished his career with First National Bank in North Platte. While at FNB, Bob worked on special projects and as an assistant to Market President Greg Wilke. He represented the bank at many functions and events and focused on Treasury Services products during his final two years there. His greatest joy as a banker was seeing positive results of customer and bank teamwork. He retired after ten years in banking.

Bob and his wife Jo, who have been married for more than 40 years, have three children – Rob, Chan, and Molly – and now four great-grandchildren!

Bob is extremely proud to be a Rotarian and feels it a privilege to be one. Rotary’s work is important and worthwhile and must be carried out with enthusiasm and dedication.
